‘Hamilton’ Accused of Discriminating Against ‘Non-Binary’ Actor Who Requested Gender-Neutral Dressing Room

The diversity-promoting hit musical Hamilton has been accused of discriminating against a “non-binary” actor who requested a gender-neutral dressing room during the Los Angeles run of the show, according to multiple reports. Suni Reid has alleged the show’s L.A. production didn’t renew his contract and marginalized him during rehearsals and beyond, as retaliation for his request.

Facebook Says It Will Protect Celebrities from ‘Sexualized Attacks’ on Platform

As part of the company’s new anti-harassment policy update, social media giant Facebook plans to begin removing “sexualized attacks” on celebrities from its platform. A Facebook executive explained the company’s reasoning: “We made these changes because attacks like these can weaponize a public figure’s appearance, which is unnecessary and often not related to the work these public figures represent.”
