China Blames ‘Abrupt’ U.S. Withdrawal for Violence in Afghanistan

The Chinese Foreign Ministry on Sunday blamed the United States for the surge of violence in Afghanistan, including Saturday’s bombing massacre at a girls’ school in Kabul, because the U.S. was supposedly irresponsible to withdraw its forces so “abruptly” from Afghanistan after twenty years of deployment.

Database Mixup Exposes 200,000 Fake Amazon Reviewers

A misconfigured database has reportedly exposed what appears to be a major coordinated scheme by Amazon vendors to generate fake reviews for their products. A China-based server exposed a scheme involving at least 200,000 people leaving fake five-star reviews for products on the site.

China Says ‘People Needn’t Worry’ About Out-of-Control Rocket Falling to Earth

Chinese state media on Wednesday scrambled to reassure the rest of humanity there is no reason to fear the huge, out-of-control rocket the Chinese left tumbling around the Earth at 18,000 miles per hour last week, quoting “Chinese space analysts” who said the rocket will probably come down in the ocean, so it will likely not kill anyone or destroy anything.
